Žarko Knego prepares for a new season in TCR Eastern Europe

Žarko Knego and the Auto Klub Dubrovnik team are in full preparation mode for the 2025 TCR Eastern Europe season, with their first test sets to take place at Grobnik, their home racetrack.

“We are rebuilding our car and repairing minor damage from last season,” said Knego who remains committed to the Hyundai Elantra he has raced during the last two years. The team has considered buying a new Elantra, but eventually gave up on the idea due to budget constraints. “We will be working on other set up options, but the car is good and now it’s up to me to improve my performance.”

One of the most experienced drivers in TCR Eastern Europe, Knego is still chasing his first victory. “It would be nice to finally win a race, but competition is strong, and it won’t be easy to achieve that goal. You have to be consistent and performing all the time if you want to take a podium or a win.”
