Yann Ehrlacher’s strong start to the 2024 KUMHO FIA TCR World Tour sees the Lynk & Co Cyan Racing driver remain the No.1 ranked driver this week as the order is slightly reshuffled following the opening round of the season.
Mikel Azcona, who with a pair of fourth-place finishes is second in the drivers’ standings, also made a two-place climb in the ranking this week, moving ahead of Lynk & Co drivers Ma Qing Hua and Thed Björk.
TCR Europe points leader Franco Girolami had a fantastic opening weekend, but as the scores he dropped from the end of 2022 were worth more than the points he scored at Vallelunga, the Argentine driver slips two spots to 13th this week.
It was a very good weekend for KUMHO FIA TCR World Tour podium finisher Marco Butti, who climbed nine spots to 20th, and for TCR Europe title contender Aurélien Comte, who moved up 14 to 26th.
The highest scorer of the weekend from the Coppa Italia Turismo, Sandro Pelatti, mad a 29-place jump to 55th this week.
