Wilmot returns for Brands Hatch finale in honour of Dan Kirby

Andy Wilmot will return in the TCR UK for the Brands Hatch Finale in honour of his late friend Dan Kirby.

Wilmot has raced at both Croft and Silverstone this year and will feature in the season finale the CUPRA Leon Competición that Dan Kirby raced at the first two rounds of the season featuring a full tribute livery including Dan’s name and number.

As he returns to the grid later this month, Andy is grateful for the support he has received as he prepares for the final meeting of the year and the chance to remember his late friend.

“It’s been a difficult time for me, having lost a friend, business partner and team-mate in such a cruel way and I want to take the chance to remember Dan in the best way I can. Racing with his number and with a tribute livery on the car that he originally raced earlier in the season, means that I can give him the send-off that I feel he would have wanted,” Wilmot explained.
