The high-scorers from the weekend in TCR South America and FFSA TC France have made great gains in this week’s Kumho TCR World Ranking classification.
In TCR South America, Pedro Cardoso has climbed back up the order following an outstanding victory in the first race of the weekend at Velocitta in his PMO Racing Peugeot 308.
The reigning champion controlled the race to take his second win of the season and moved up ten places in this week’s ranking to 26th position, though he is still 12 spots behind the leading driver from the series, current championship leader Leonel Pernía.
Also, after taking his first TCR career win in Race 2, Nelson Piquet jr. was the other big mover in the top 100, with the Honda YPF Racing driver climbing 16 places to 74th in the order.
In Europe, the newly-crowned FFSA TC France champion Giovanni Scamardi ends the year as the best-placed driver in the series in 110th position, after a hattrick of victories at the Paul Ricard circuit helping to certify his title at the weekend.
