The 12H Kuwait race this weekend has seen the top two finishing driver groups make significant gains in this week's TCR World Ranking.

Latvia's Ivars Vallers second place in the event with the Wolf-Power Racing Audi RS 3 LMS, on top of with his strong season in the Baltic Touring Car Championship this year, sees him move up to 159th in the ranking. His co-driver, Swiss lady racer Jasmin Preisig, now very much an endurance specialist, also rises to 224th place.

BBR's race-winning Thai driver squad also advanced in the ranking, with the best-placed of these being the Kusiri brothers Kantadhee and Kantasak, both now 257th in the ranking.
