The race winners from the weekend’s races of the KUMHO TCR World Tour are now closing on the leading trio at the top of the ranking, with points leader Norbert Michelisz moving up to fourth place, and Rob Huff up to fifth after their victories at Vallelunga.
The highest mover from the series though was Kobe Pauwels, with the TCR Italian Festival guest driver now closing fast on the top 100 after his strong start in TCR competition, moving up 65 spots to 127th overall.
With plenty of touring car action on this weekend, there were key moves in other series as well, with Anna Inotsume’s double win at Okayama in TCR Japan helping her climb 22 places to 74th and has become the second-best placed female racer in the ranking, just 23 places behind Taylor Hagler.
Tom Oliphant’s maiden victory in TCR Australia saw the British driver progress 77 positions in the ranking and is now into the top 300.
In TCR Eastern Europe, Mat’o Homola’s two victories at his home circuit the Slovakiaring has helped the Hyundai driver move into the top 20 for the first time, climbing six places to 18th.
