Three races for the TCR UK championship at Brands Hatch

For its third event of the season TCR UK visits Brands Hatch where competitors will take part in three races.

Max Hart (JamSport Racing, Hyundai i30 N) dominated the previous event at Donington Park, winning both races and moving on top of the standings. He has already built a gap of 45 points over Chris Smiley (Restart Racing, Honda Civic Type R) who had won the first race of the season at Oulton Park and set the pole position at Donington. In third place, five further points behind Smiley, lies Isaac Smith (Race Car Consultants, Volkswagen Golf GTI), with reigning champion Lewis Kent (Essex & Kent Motorsport, Hyundai Veloster N) placed fourth, with a gap of 66 points.

The only other race winner so far, Jessica Hawkins (Area Motorsport, CUPRA) who was victorious in Oulton Park's second race, had a disappointing weekend at Donington, and slipped to sixth in the standings, behind her teammate Jamie Tonks.
