Thed Björk has moved ahead of Cyan Racing teammate Yann Ehrlacher following his Race 1 victory at the Macau Guia Race and ends the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour season as the second-highest placed driver in the Kumho TCR World Ranking.
Björk is now just 0.3 points ahead of Ehrlacher, and 6.0 behind the re-crowned World Tour champion Norbert Michelisz.
Elsewhere in the top ten, Argentine drivers Néstor Girolami and Esteban Guerrieri both moved ahead of Mat’o Homola up to fifth and sixth positions following their points hauls at the Macau finale, while Martin Cao Hong Wei, the 2024 TCR China champion and Race 1 winner, moved up four spots and is now the top ranked Chinese racer in eighth, one spot ahead of title rival Jason Zhang Zhi Qiang.
The highest climber of the week was TCR Asia’s newest race winner Dypo Fitramadhan, who moved up 100 places to 154th.
Meanwhile Guia Race 2 winner Dušan Borković made a 62-place climb and is now 100th in the ranking.
