The 2026 Kumho FIA TCR World Tour calendar was unveiled
The calendar of the 2026 Kumho FIA TCR World Tour season has been unveiled today by WSC, following its approval from the FIA World Motor Sport Council, with eight events between April and November.
Just like in 2025, the season will kick off at Mexico City’s Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez before moving to Europe for three events in Spain, at Valencia, France, at Le Castellet, and Portugal, at Vila Real’s street-circuit.
The cars will then be shipped to the Far East for a string of four race meetings between October and November.
After returning to the Inje Speedium in South Korea, the series will race in two back-to-back events in China, visiting for the first time the Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit and going back to Zhuzhou’s Hunan International Circuit, before the season comes to its traditional close as part of the Macau Grand Prix.
Four events will stick to the traditional two-race format, while the other four – Mexico, Spain, Korea and China-Chengdu – will feature the three-race format that was introduced last year, for a total of twenty championship rounds.
WSC President Marcello Lotti said: “Ahead of its fourth season, and third as an FIA-sanctioned series, the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour has reached a stability in the schedule that surely helps to enhance the popularity of the series with the fans. We have retained six of the eight events that formed the 2025 calendar, as all have proved to be successful this past year.
The new venues are equally glamorous: the iconic Circuit Paul Ricard in Southern France and the Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit that was inaugurated two years ago and will host its first international race meeting. We believe that we have put together a nice mix of circuits where competitors will be able to deliver another season of thrilling races.
We are also pleased to renew our friendly cooperation with the promoters of TCR México for the season opener, and TCR Asia for the events in the Far East.”
