TCR UK vice-champion Alex Ley moves to TCR Italy

2023 TCR UK vice-champion Alex Ley will compete in TCR Italy at the wheel of a Hyundai Elantra N run by Target Competition.
The 19-year-old Englishman had joined TCR competition in the 2022 TCR UK, driving a Hyundai i30 N; he scored three race wins in his maiden season on his way to finish sixth in the standings. He won three more races last year, fighting for the championship and eventually finishing 48 points behind the champion Carl Boardley.
“I’m a rookie in Italy, but I hope to be competitive from the beginning. I’m confident, because I have very good relationship with the team that had been following me since I started in TCR,” said Ley.
