It was a high-scoring final round for many of the TCR UK contingent after the final round of the championship at Silverstone last weekend, with a bumper entry to finish off the season.

The recrowned champion Carl Boardley ended the year as the top-ranked driver from the series after a steady points run helped him to secure the title, climbing four spots to move up to 25th in the Kumho TCR World Ranking.

His title rivals also had a good weekend, with Callum Newsham and Bradley Hutchison sharing the wins, with Newsham up two places to 34th, while Hutchison jumped ahead of him with an 11-place climb to 30th.

Other highlights included a 20-place jump for Darron Lewis, who is now 63rd in the ranking, two podiums for Luke Sargeant saw the Audi driver move into the top 100 with a 31-place leap to 73rd, while Steve Laidlaw broke into the top 100 as well after scoring a podium with his new CUPRA Leon VZ, moving up 44 positions to 92nd.

After the final round of the IMSA Michelin Challenge, a fourth-place finish for Robert Wickens helped see the Canadian end the year as the best-placed driver from the series, sliding up four places to 50th place in the ranking.
