The second season of the TCR South America championship kicks off this weekend at the Autódromo Velocitta, located in Mogi-Guaçu in the state of São Paulo.

15 cars will hit the Brazilian circuit, representing seven brands: Alfa Romeo, Audi, CUPRA, Honda, Hyundai, LInk & Co and Peugeot.

The champion team W2 Pro GP has swapped its two Honda Civic cars for a pair of CUPRA Leon Competición, with Antonio Junqueira joining Raphael Reis. PMO will field two Lynk & Co 03 and two Peugeot 308 cars; Fabricio Pezzini and Juan-Manuel Sapag will drive the Chinese saloons, while Franco Farina and Pablo Otero will seat in the French machines.

Cobra Racing expands to three Audi cars for Adalberto Baptista, Guilherme Reischl and Ana Beatriz 'Bia' Figueiredo, the first lady driver to join the series. CJ Motorsport confirmed Pedro Aizza in its first Hyundai Elantra N.

Honda Civic cars will be run again by Squadra Martino for Juan Ángel Rosso and Fabio Casagrande, but also by Crown Racing with Gabriele Lusquiños and Alessandro Marchini.

The field is completed by the Alfa Romeo Giulietta of PropCar Racing driven by Fernando Croce.
