TCR drivers are split in two groups for Q1 in El PInar

18 August 2023

The drivers of the Kumho TCR World Tour and TCR South America have been split in two groups for the Q1 part of the Qualifying session.

The decision was taken in consideration of the 30-car field and the 3.1km layout of the Autódromo Victor Borrat Fabini in El Pinar.

Both groups will take part in their own 20-minute session on Saturday; the fastest six drivers of each group will then advance to the 10-minute Q2.

The grid positions from P13 onward will be allocated as follows: the drivers of each group who did not qualify for Q2 will form their own lines, with the 7th fastest driver of the fastest group sitting on P13, followed by all the other drivers of his own group, while the drivers of the other group will form the second line.
