TCR Australia joins Kumho FIA TCR World Tour twice in 2025

TCR Australia has announced a five-round calendar for the 2025 season that will see the championship racing twice together with the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour.

The series will kick off in New Zealand for the Taupo Super 440 in April. In June, the series will take to Wanneroo Raceway as part of the Perth Super 440, this will be followed by a race meeting at Winton Motor Raceway in August.

The series will then join the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour at the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park in September as part of The Bend 500. The final event will see TCR Australia lining up alongside the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour for the second time at an overseas venue that will be announced in due course.

The events at Taupo, Wanneroo and The Bend will be within the frame of the Supercars Championship.

We are delighted to announce that this has led to the addition of a second joint event in our respective calendars. We are also pleased with the cooperation TCR Australia has established with the Supercars Championship, as this will contribute to reinforce the popularity and visibility of TCR competition in the country.”
