Following the latest events of the TCR Italy championships at Imola and the FFSA TC France series at Magny-Cours, the race winners from the weekend have all made great progress in this week’s Kumho TCR World Ranking.
Nicolas Taylor’s second place in Race 1, followed by a win in Race 2 from the reversed grid in TCR Italy saw the Canadian make a nine-place jump this week to 26th, just one place shy of his best ever position in the classification.
In the DSG championship, both race winners also jumped up the order, with Race 2 winner Matteo Roccadelli up to an all-time best of 27th, moving up seven places, while Race 1 winner and championship leader Eric Brigliadori is up 14 positions and is now back into the top 50.
The winners in France had a good weekend as well, with Raphaël Fournier into the top 100 with an 18-place climb to 84th, while series leader Giovanni Scamardi is just on the verge of the top century in 101st, moving up 13 places thanks to his double victory at the weekend.
