It was a strong weekend for Juan Ángel Rosso, Galid Osman, and Fabián Yannantuoni in the KUMHO TCR World Ranking, while TCR South America’s newest race winner Rodrigo Baptista was the highest climber of all.
Rosso has moved ahead of fellow Argentine driver Franco Girolami in the ranking to 14th and is just nine points away from breaking into the top ten.
Osman, who won the first TCR Brazil race on Saturday, has moved up ten positions to an all-time best placing of 23rd, just one spot behind his teammate Raphael Reis in the ranking, while another race winner at the weekend, Yannantuoni, has now moved into the top 50.
Baptista, who converted pole to victory in Race 1 on Sunday, has catapulted up to 268th, up 411 spots. With two years out of the category from a full-time perspective, the Brazilian is on course to recapture a top 100 placing, his previous best being 73rd position.
