A pair of wins for Toyota Team Argentina driver Matías Rossi at San Juan Villicum in TCR South America saw the Argentine climb 34 places and into the top 50 of the Kumho TCR World Ranking, now in 49th position in only his 13th TCR race.
Finishing behind him in both races was Squadra Martino Honda driver Juan Manuel Casella, who’s progressed eight spots to 35th in the ranking as a consequence.
While missing out on victory at the weekend at the Buriram circuit, TCR Asia front-runner Zhang Zhen Dong broke into the top 50 with a five-place climb to 47th this week following his pair of second place finishes at the Thai circuit in his Z.Speed Hyundai.
A quartet of podiums for SP Compétition team owner Sylvain Pussier at Dijon-Prenois for the latest round of the FFSA TC France series saw the CUPRA Leon VZ driver move up 24 positions and into the top 100 and is just two places and 0.4 points behind his chief rival on track at the weekend, Julien Paget.
With three race wins in TC France however, Sébastien Thome was the biggest mover from the French series, climbing 45 positions and is now up to 125th in his first season of TCR competition.
