Rolling start and longer races in the TCR Italy championship

12 March 2024

TCR Italy switches to the rolling start and longer races for the new season that will also see the DSG cars running in a separate series.

The changes to sporting regulations include the duration of the races extended to 35 minutes plus one lap, while the start changes from standing to rolling.

There are no changes to the Qualifying format – one 25-minute session - and the grid for Race 2 - top-eight of Qualifying reversed.

Twelve titles are on offer, six apiece in the championship for the cars with sequential gearbox as well as in the DSG series: Drivers', Teams', Under 25, Rookies, Females and Masters for drivers over 40 years old.
