Rod McGovern set for TCR UK debut with JH Racing

JH Racing will field two Hyundai i30 N cars during the opening weekend of the 2025 TCR UK season as Rod McGovern make his championship debut.

Joining Callum Newsham in the team, McGovern will take on Donington Park for the first time in TCR; his racing career spanned over three decades in which he won the Ireland Supercars Championship three years in a row between 2006 and 2008 and the 2017 SEAT Eurocup.

“I’m excited to race on the amazing Donington Park circuit this weekend. It’s one of the few venues left in the UK that I haven’t had the chance to race on, so I’m looking forward to a good weekend,” he said. “I’ve followed TCR UK over the past few seasons, and I’m well aware of how good JH Racing is, so joining them and driving a Hyundai is something I can't wait to start with. As long as I have a good first weekend in the championship, I’ll be back for more.”
