Reigning Gen 1 Cup champion Rick Kerry will make his return to TCR UK in the season finale at Brands Hatch, ahead of a full-time comeback in 2026.
Kerry has signed with JH Racing and will drive the Hyundai i30 N, which was campaigned by title contender Callum Newsham earlier this year. He will join Newsham as the James Hone-run outfit expands to a two-car effort for the final two races of the year, running both Kerry’s i30 N and Newsham’s Elantra N.
“It’s great to be back in TCR UK for the final round of 2025, the time away has allowed me to assess my options and return with the i30 N which served Callum Newsham so well. Callum is a great talent and alongside him and the team at JH Racing I’m hoping I can learn and get to grips with the car. I’m looking forward to Brands Hatch and racing with some old friends,” said Kerry who was the inaugural TCR UK Gen1 Cup champion last year, in his EDF Motorsport-run CUPRA.
