PMO Motorsport signs Fabricio Pezzini and Frederick Balbi

TCR South America reigning champion Fabricio Pezzini and Uruguay’s Frederick Balbi are the first two drivers signed by PMO Motorsport for the 2023 campaign in TCR South America and TCR Brazil.

The team will run four Lynk & Co 03 cars and will announce the names of the other two drivers in due course.

Pezzini joined PMO Motorsport in the second half of the 2021 season, scoring two race wins, he then took part in the whole 2022 season and claimed two more victories on his way to clinch the Drivers’ title.

After winning twice the Uruguayan Formula 4 title, Balbi successfully switched to the national Superturismo series in which he finished second twice in 2021 and 2022. He has also made occasional appearances in last year’s TCR South America at the wheel of Peugeot 308 and Alfa Romeo Giulietta cars.
