Pernía defends TCR South America lead in Termas de Río Hondo

TCR South America's Argentine leg comes to an end this weekend with the championship's fourth race meeting at Termas de Río Hondo. The second part of the season will see the series visiting Brazil and Uruguay.

With three wins, one in each of the previous events, Leonel Pernía (Honda YPF Racing, Honda Civic FL5) has already built a comfortable lead of 43 points over the reigning champion Pedro Cardoso (PMO Racing, Peugeot 308). The other title contenders are further behind: Raphael Reis (W2 Pro GP, CUPRA Leon VZ), Juan Ángel Rosso (Paladini Racing, Lynk & Co 03) and Reis' teammate Fabrício Pezzini have gaps of 75, 78 and 79 points respectively.
