Owen Hillman will make his debut in the TCR UK this weekend at Silverstone, where he will drive the Pro Alloys Racing Lynk & Co 03.
Hillman, who has been a stalwart of the TCR UK feeder series, the Milltek Sport Civic Cup, has already enjoyed a test in the Lynk & Co, the same car in which TCR Europe regular Viktor Andersson had won the first race of the season at Brands Hatch back in April.
“I’m very excited to be making my debut in TCR UK, it’s the next step up in my career and gives me my first proper race weekend in a Touring Car. We recently shook down the car and as you can imagine there are a few differences between my Civic Cup car and the Lynk & Co,” explained Hillman. “I’m very grateful to Neil and the team at Pro Alloys Racing for giving me the chance to get stuck into TCR UK. Silverstone National is a fast and flowing circuit and I’m looking forward to mixing it with the regular drivers.”
