Obrtal and Szilagyi set for TCR Eastern Europe debut in Most

The upcoming event of TCR Eastern Europe, in two week-tome at Most, will see two newcomers from Slovakia joining the field: Radoslav Obrtal and Peter Szilagyi.

The pair will compete in a CUPRA Leon Competición, run by Expres Auto Racing, alongside Petr Čížek and championship returnee Vít Smejkal.

“We’ll be sharing the car across both races. I’ll drive the first race, and Peter will take the wheel in the second,”explained Obrtal. “I have already tested the cat last year in Brno and then drove it in an endurance race there. We don’t have any high expectations for the weekend. The most important thing is to bring the car home; that is our main goal.”

And what about the rest of the season? “We’ll see. There are races at Slovakiaring and Brno, tracks I know very well, so we’ll decide what to do next after Most.” added Obrtal.
