Niels Langeveld joins TCR Italy with Target Competition

After unveiling the trio of drivers for the TCR Europe campaign, Target Competition announced that Niels Langeveld will drive a Hyundai Elantra N in the TCR Italy championship.

Langeveld said: “The team has already done an incredible job building a car with such a strong pace. TCR is quite big in Italy. We are in good shape, so I expect lots of exposure and the title is our ultimate goal.”

Langeveld has built vast experience in TCR competition; the Dutchman was a title contender and race winner in the 2017 and 2018 TCR Germany before switchikng to the FIA WTCR for 2019. Last year he finished third in TCR Europe, driving an Elantra N for Sébastien Loeb Racing.
Langeveld will be joined by Francesca Raffaele and Cesare Brusa in two Hyundai i30 N cars.
