New Technical Bulletin adjusts the Balance of Performance

27 May 2021

With immediate application, the WSC’s Technical Department has issued a new Balance of Performance bulletin.

Compared to the previous Bulletin, both the Honda Civic Type R FK7 and the Peugeot 308 were given a weight break.

The Honda’s Assigned Ballast was reduced from +30kg to +10kg, resulting in a Minimum Racing Weight of 1275kg, while the Peugeot’s Ballast went down from -30kg to -40kg, for a Minimum Racing Weight of 1225kg.

The Ballasts of both models were also reduced for Endurance competitions: from +15kg to 5kg for the Honda (MRW, 1255kg) and from -5kg to -20kg for the Peugeot (MRW, 1250kg).

An adjustment to the Turbo Pressure’s Limit Support Points has also been provided for the Hyundai Elantra N.

These changes are intended for immediate application.
