Muller leads another Lynk&Co 1-2-3 in Qualifying 2

The Lynk&Co cars continued their domination in the WTCR event at Zandvoort, as Yvan Muller led his teammates Yann Ehrlacher and Thed Björk in a 1-2-3 for the Chinese manufacturer in Qualifying 2.
Q1 was as close as always, with the whole 26-car field covered by the same second. Björk set the fastest lap of 1:44.914 and beat Norbert Michelisz’s 1:45.019 by one tenth, while Johan Kristoffersson ranked third, a further 7 thousandths adrift.
Those who advanced to Q2 were Björk, Michelisz, Kristoffersson, Muller, Ehrlacher, Azcona, Catsburg, Girolami, Huff, Farfus, Guerrieri and Leuchter. Among those who did not make the cut were Tarquini (14th), Vernay (15th), Priaulx (17th) and Vervisch (20th).
Björk and Muller topped Q2 with the very same lap time of 1:44.668, with Michelisz, Augusto Farfus and Ehrlacher who went through to Q3 as well. Mikel Azcona was the first to be kicked off by three thousandths of a second.   
In Q3, the three Lynk&Co drivers challenged for the pole as they all went faster than Michelisz. As for Farfus, we committed a couple of mistakes and settled into fifth.
Race 2 will start at 13:15 local time (CET), with Esteban Guerrieri and Benjamin Leuchter sharing the front row of the top-ten reverse grid.

4. 1:44.734 – Norbert Michelisz (BRC Squadra Corse, Hyundai i30 N)
5. 1:46.233 – Augusto Farfus (BRC Racing, Hyundai i30 N)
