It was a good week for Norbert Michelisz, Rob Huff, and Will Brown, among others in the KUMHO TCR World Tour ranking this week – with Michelisz climbing up to his best position in the ranking to-date, moving up to second ahead of Yann Ehrlacher, while Sydney Race 3 winner Rob Huff moved up to fourth ahead of Hyundai’s Mikel Azcona.
Of the TCR Australia drivers, Will Brown remains the highest-placed driver, with the Melbourne Performance Centre driver winning all three races in the Australian series classification at the weekend. The 2019 champion climbed 27 positions to 21st overall in the ranking as well as to tenth in the TCR World Tour Standings.
The series points leader Bailey Sweeny also had a good weekend in the ranking, moving up to 35th position, climbing ten spots, while Aaron Cameron is the third-best-placed driver from the series, moving up to 46th, a 30-place climb.
The highest climber of the week overall was Autoglym ASM driver Tom OIiphant, with the British racer moving up 120 spots to 127th in the ranking.
Frédéric Vervisch continues to hold on at the top for an eleventh consecutive week, and 23 in total this year, but is just six points ahead of Michelisz with more activity for the KUMHO TCR World Tour drivers this weekend at Mount Panorama, Bathurst.
