Michal Makeš will start from the pole in Poznán's Race 1

Michal Makeš set the fastest time in Qualifying at Poznán, for Race 1 of TCR Eastern Europe’s third weekend. 
The Micanek Motorsport’s Czech driver who is currently second in the championship will start the race from the pole position in his CUPRA, alongside his countryman and points leader Tomáš Pekař, while local racer Szymon Jabłoński qualified third on his first appearance in the season with the BM Racing Team-run Hyundai i30 N. 
Makeš topped the Qualifying with the time of 1:37.732 ousting Pekař who had led the session for most of the time with a provisional fastest lap of 1:38.129. 
However, Pekař retained the second position as his time was less than one tenth faster than Jabłoński’s 1:38.208. 
Sebastian Steibel and Łukasz Stolarczyk followed in fourth and fifth positions respectively.
The first race will be streamed live tomorrow at www.tcr-series.com at 11:35 local time (CEST) and promises to deliver a thrilling show with only seven tenths of a second covering the five fastest drivers in Qualifying.
