McGovern set for TCR UK return with Power Maxed Racing

Rod McGovern will return to TCR UK for the upcoming season, continuing with Power Maxed Racing.

The Irish driver’s decision to remain with the team provides continuity and a strong foundation; he will be piloting the CUPRA Leon VZ which was driven by Jenson Brickley to secure the 2025 TCR Europe title.

A comprehensive testing and preparation programme is planned ahead of the new campaign, allowing McGovern and Power Maxed Racing to maximise seat time and refine their setup ahead of the opening round.

“I’m really pleased to be returning to TCR UK and continuing with Power Maxed Racing,” said McGovern. “The team knows the championship inside out, and staying together gives us a great platform to keep progressing. I’m looking forward to getting back on track and building on what we’ve already learned.”
