Mark Smith returns to TCR UK for the 2024 season

Mark Smith will make his return to TCR UK for the 2024 season with his Richmond Fire Motorsport run CUPRA.
Having competed at both Donington Park and Brands Hatch in 2023, Smith rounded off his efforts with a fourth-place finish in the Goodyear Diamond Award. This year he will be aiming to fight for honours in both the Gen 1 Cup Award as well as the Goodyear Diamond Award.
“I’ve seen the championship grow in recent years, with grid numbers increasing and newer Gen2 cars being brought in. But what appeals to me is that I can race my Gen 1 CUPRA and be competitive for two different titles this year,” Smith explained.
