Mark Havers moves up to TCR UK for 2022

20 February 2022

Mark Havers has announced that he will move up to the TCR UK series for 2022, driving a CUPRA TCR run by his T4 Motorsport team. As he is making his debut in the series, Havers will be eligible for the Tom Walker trophy as well as the Goodyear Diamond Award for drivers over the age of forty.

The Suffolk-based driver is no stranger to the car, having driven the CUPRA in endurance races last season.

Havers commented: “The TCR machines are a massive step up from the club-specification cars I raced previously. It means my performance and results are very much in my hands and it will be up to me to maximise the opportunities. I am realistic about what can be achieved in what will inevitably be a learning year, but I look forward to the challenge and being part of a large and competitive grid.”
