Maria Nienkötter has emerged as the winner of the selection for female drivers organised by TCR South America together with Brazil’s National Sporting Authority CBA and Cobra Racing.
Following the test at Interlagos in a Cobra Racing Audi RS 3 LMS, the 18-year-old Nienkötter received the best evaluation from team principal Flavio ‘Noño’ Figueiredo and the driver Felipe Maluhy who acted as tutor and advisor.
Prevailing over the other lady drivers who took part in the test – Kaká Magno and Renata Camargo – Nienkötter secured a financial support equal to the 50% of the cost for a full season in the 2025 TCR South America; a support that may add up to 750,000 R$ (120,000 €) one of the greatest prizes ever in Brazilian motorsport.
This initiative may be extended in the future seasons to lady drivers from Uruguay and Argentina.
