Marco Butti joins MM Motorsport for TCR Europe

Italian rising star Marco Butti will contest the full TCR Europe season, driving for MM Motorsport in a Honda Civic Type R FL5.

Butti contested a partial season in 2022, before making a one-off appearance in 2023 and then made his move to the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour last year with GOAT Racing.

“Last year's experience allowed me to grow a lot as a driver but above all, to know the Civic TCR in depth. I have built a background of information that I am sure will be very useful to us this year. I know the potential of MM Motorsport well, and I know what these guys are capable of. I’m convinced that together we can achieve excellent results. It won't be easy as the championship has grown a lot this year and the level is very high. It will be an incredible challenge,” said Butti.

"We have been interested in entering TCR Europe for a long time, and with Marco we have found the right combination,” said team principal Emanuele Alborghetti. “Marco is a talented driver, young but already experienced, a unique mix that has convinced us to take on this important challenge.”
