Reigning TCR UK champion Carl Boardley has climbed up to 27th place in the KUMHO TCR World Ranking after a strong opening weekend at Brands Hatch. A pair of second-place finishes sees the CUPRA racer climb 17 spots in the ranking. Meanwhile, the new TCR UK championship leader Callum Newsham broke into the top 100 with a 20-place climb thanks to his win in Race 3, while guest driver Viktor Andersson moved up 33 spots to 104th after a sensational victory in the first race of the weekend.
Juan Ángel Rosso is the best-placed of the current TCR South America contingent in 15th in the ranking after the season opener at Interlagos, in a weekend with surprisingly little movement across the front-runners, with Galid Osman losing out the most following a late-race incident, costing him ten places in the ranking and dropping him to 33rd.
Josh Buchan is still the top of the current TCR Australia drivers in the ranking in 36th position, though his win in Race 1 was heavily offset by his DNF in Race 2, which cost him three positions. He's now only half a point clear of 2022 champion Tony D'Alberto in 38th, while there were significant climbs for Ben Bargwanna and Brad Harris, with Bargwanna moving up 11 places to 69th, and double race winner Harris storming up 20 places to 112th.
