Knutsson in TCR Scandinavia with Lestrup Racing Team

Lestrup Racing Team announced that Tim Knutsson will be at the wheel of one of their Volkwagen Golf GTI cars in the 2021 TCR Scandinavia.
Knutsson, 19-year-old, faces his first car racing season after competing in karting for the past five years and becoming vice-champion in the 2019 Swedish 125cc championship.

“It’s a bigger step than I thought, as young drivers usually move to formula cars or support classes. But this just motivates me more, especially after my first test went really well,” said Knutsson who drove over 100 laps at Mantorp Park and once the track dried up set impressive lap times.
The team will announce the names of the other drivers in the coming month.
