Kirby returns full-season in TCR UK with Zest Racecar

Dan Kirby will make his return to TCR UK after taking a break from motorsport; he will drive a CUPRA Leon Competición for Zest Racecar Engineering.
The former race winner last competed in the championship in 2021, when he took his first win during a chaotic race at Brands Hatch event driving an older CUPRA TCR for Power Maxed Racing.
The Malcolm Cleland-led team had already announced Carl Boardley as they make their own return to the championship with two entries.
“I’m delighted to be back for another season in TCR UK. Having sat out of motorsport for the last 18 months, I’m keen to start where I left off and hopefully be in the championship hunt come the end of the season. TCR UK has come on strong attracting some top drivers and teams, which is a real credit to the organisers and I’m under no illusions how stiff the competition is for this coming season,” Kirby said.
