Richard Boake’s triple victory at the Toronto city race in the SCCC at the weekend saw the Canadian leap 81 spots in the KUMHO TCR World Ranking, and he’s now up to 214th.
The top Canadian driver overall remains Mark Wilkins, who made his SCCC debut at the weekend and had a competitive run in his Bryan Herta Autosport-run Hyundai Elantra N with three top-five finishes, but slipped six spots on the ranking to 74th, where he is now tied with his IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge teammate Taylor Hagler.
There were moves for Ron Tomlinson, who climbed 30 positions to 237th position, while Justin di Benedetto moved up 36 spots to 246th.
The second-biggest scorer of the weekend behind Boake was Dean Baker, who finished as runner-up in every race in Toronto. As a result, he made a 90-place climb to 250th, putting four of the SCCC drivers in the top 250 of the 1,000+ drivers in the ranking.
