Kevin Engman’s race win and high-scoring weekend in general at the TCR Denmark season opener at Jyllandsringen gave the Swede one of the highest climbs of the week, launching himself up 201 places to 209th overall.
Engman’s climb exceeded that of his new team-mate, and TCR Denmark’s points leader Jan Magnussen, who was back in action for the first time since 2021. Magnussen moved up 145 places to 183rd this week in the KUMHO TCR World Ranking.
Kasper H. Jensen, by far the top Dane in the ranking, had a positive start to the weekend with pole and a win in Race 1, but the rest of the weekend didn’t quite work out, and as a result he’s dropped four places from fifth to ninth.
Meanwhile, in TCR Eastern Europe, the biggest climbers were the two race winners, with Milan Vuković now up 85 places to 224th, and Davit Kajaia up 72 spots to 153rd, with TCR Eastern Europe allocating the maximum available points thanks to its expanded 22-car grid at the Red Bull Ring.
René Kircher moved up 13 spots after another solid weekend and is now in the top 30, while Sebastien Steibel’s strong weekend sees him move up to 56th, and he’s in the final transfer position to qualify for the TCR World Ranking Final once the top 15 from the KUMHO TCR World Tour are removed.
