Karklys in TCR Germany with a Hyundai i30 N

Jonas Karklys will join the ADSC TCR Germany at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 N car. Karklys, 31-year-old from Lithuania comes from two seasons in the Renault Clio Cup Central Europe.

“This is going to be a big step in my career; it’s a big challenge with a new car, new competition and new competitors,” said Karklys. “I haven’t tested the Hyundai i30 N TCR yet, though I have taken part in a few races at the wheel of different models of TCR cars. I know that the Hyundai is very competitive, but we’ll have to learn a lot on how to set up the car for circuits that are new to us. We want to learn as much as possible and the see what we are capable to do.”

Karklys has not yet unveiled the name of the team that will run his car.
