TCR Mexico front-runner Julio Rejón remains the top ranked driver from the series in the Kumho TCR World Ranking after a competitive performance at the weekend, winning the endurance race at Puebla in his family-fronted ProRally Mothers team.
The victory moved him up 19 places to 190th in the ranking. Julio’s brother and co-driver for the weekend Rodrigo is closest to him, just 25 places behind him, and separated by just under three points.
The highest climber of the week was Juan Felipe Pedraza, with the Columbian driver finishing fifth place in the race in an RE Motorsports-run CUPRA, and has this week moved up 52 spots to 387th.
The Kumho TCR World Ranking has an increased focus this year, with the top ranked drivers set to qualify for participation in the first ever FIA TCR World Ranking final, which has been set for November this year at the Vallelunga circuit.
