There were some key changes in the Kumho TCR World Ranking this week after the latest rounds of the TCR South America, TCR Australia, and TCR European Endurance series, including a change in the top ten.
A highlight was the upwards trajectory of TCR South America title contender Juan Manuel Casella, who moved up five places this week, with the Uruguayan championship hopeful now into the top 20. The winner of the second race at Termas de Río Hondo, Leonel Pernía, also made notable progress, moving up 19 places to 45th overall.
It wasn’t such a great weekend for former front-runner and title contender Juan Ángel Rosso, who drops from fifth to ninth in the overall ranking after an average showing during the latest round of the series.
After the final weekend of the TCR Australia series, the most significant mover was Race 3 winner Dylan O’Keeffe, who catapulted into the top 100 with a 34-place climb to 70th in the ranking, while Race 2 winner Jordan Cox moved up five spots to 74th.
Will Harris also climbed 34 positions and is now up to 154th, while British racer Tom Oliphant’s strong weekend saw him re-enter the top 100.
