Teenage driver Jenson O'Neill-Going will make his debut in the TCR UK season finale at Brands Hatch, becoming the youngest driver ever to compete in the championship.
He will be driving a Subaru WRX STi run by Jamsport Racing, marking the return of the model to TCR competition.
Despite he’s only sixteen, O'Neill-Going already boasts an impressive motorsport CV, having made his debut in the Fiesta Junior Championship at fourteen years old, before taking the overall, Rookie, and Mk6 titles in 2024.
Team owner Jamie Going, Jenson’s father, said: “I’m very proud to see Jenson make his debut in TCR UK as he looks ahead to the next step in his motorsport career. Being the youngest driver on the grid will provide a further challenge as he learns about the Subaru during a race weekend. We chose the Subaru, remembering its following as a favourite amongst the fans, so it will be great to see it back in action once again. There is no pressure on Jenson, Brands Hatch is all about him gaining experience and being part of the TCR UK Paddock.”
