Jenson Brickley will make his TCR Europe debut later this month at the season finale at Valencia’s Circuito Ricardo Tormo, driving the latest CUPRA Leon VZ for his own racing team Jenson Brickley Racing. The 20-year-old will be the first British driver in the series since 2023.
Brickley, currently the TCR Spain points leader, is looking forward to his third different TCR category in just two years, after winning a race and taking five podiums in TCR UK championship last year. Brickley was a contender for the title in only his first year of competition, before joining the Spanish series this year, which he currently leads after scoring three podiums in the first two race meetings.
“I am super-excited to join the TCR Europe at Valencia. We have really enjoyed our experience in Continental Europe so far this season and thought that it was the right time to step up to TCR Europe and see how we fare against the others! It's a new challenge for us as a team but we are going to give it our all. Hopefully we can gain some valuable experience at Valencia, which is a new track for me, in preparation for rounds five and six of TCR Spain the weekend after,” said Brickley.
