Customer Lynk & Co drivers enjoyed some strong movements in the Kumho TCR World Ranking this week, with TCR China frontrunner Jason Zhang Zhi Qiang moving up to an all-time best of third following his Race 1 victory at the Zhejiang circuit at the weekend.
It was also a strong weekend for his title rival Zhang Zhen Dong, after the Z.Speed N Hyundai driver moved up eight places to break into the top ten, displacing last year’s champion Martin Cao Hong Wei who is now starting to descend due to being out of competition since November last year.
The latest round of TCR Europe saw some movements as well, with a consistent run for Viktor Andersson at Misano helping the young Swedish racer move up on the back of his two Kumho FIA TCR World Tour appearances as well, and he’s now up to 19th.
A race victory for Ruben Volt moved the Estonian up to 23rd, while Jenson Brickley was the highest scorer from the weekend with his second and fourth place finishes and moves up eight places to 28th.
The new TCR Europe points leader Teddy Clairet has also moved into the top 50 following his race victory on Sunday at Misano.
