Jacopo Cimenes rejoins TCR Europe at the Red Bull Ring

After clinching a podium result on his TCR Europe debut at Misano, Jacopo Cimenes will rejoin the European series next week at the Red Bull Ring, still at the wheel of the Honda Civic Type R FL5 run by MM Motorsport.

“It’s a new challenge, because I had only raced at the Red Bull Ring in the Clio Cup,” said Cimenes. “I need to be used to the track, but I am lucky to race in a professional team and alongside an experienced driver like Marco Butti. I still have a lot to learn, but I feel to be in the right place at the right moment.”

“We are pleased to give Jacopo a second opportunity in TCR Europe,” said team principal Emanuele Alborghetti. “He has impressed everyone on his debut in Misano, performing like a veteran. Today, TCR Europe is the best series for every young driver who aims for becoming a professional in touring car competition.”
