Jacob Mathiassen returns to TCR Denmark with Insight Racing

Insight Racing will expand to two entries for the 2024 TCR Demark season, as the team will add a second Hyundai i30 N car for Jacob Mathiassen alongside the one driven by Silas Rytter.

This will mark Mathiassen’s return to the Danish series in which he was a title contender in 2022, finishing fourth overall in an Insight Racing Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce.

"I have won the DS3 Cup and have driven in TCR Denmark for three years for Martin Jensen and Insight Racing. I know the team well and it gives a good feeling to return to a safe environment where I feel like part of the family,” Mathiassen said.

"I expect to fight to make the top-three in the championship; that is our goal, and the Hyundai is a very competitive car. Competition is fierce in the series, so it is really an exciting challenge, and I am very much looking forward to coming back," Mathiassen added.
