Hyundai to chase a fourth win in the TCR class at the ADAC 24H

Hyundai will bring its largest team yet to the Nürburgring Nordschleife to contest this year’s ADAC 24 Hours, three Hyundai Elantra N cars stand ready to chase a fourth consecutive win in the TCR class.

The three cars will be led by Mikel Azcona, Marc Basseng and Manuel Lauck aboard the #830; these three drivers combined to win the TCR class in 2022 and 2023, while Basseng and Lauck also achieved victory in 2021. The Hyundai-Motor-America-supported Bryan Herta Autosport team returns with the #831 car and a driver lineup from the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge: Mason Filippi, Harry Gottsacker and Mark Wilkins. All new for 2024 is the #832 entry, set to be driven by four stars of the TCR China series: the 2023 champion Martin Cao Hongwei, Rainey He Xiao Le, Andy Yan Cheuk Wai and Zhang Zhen Dong.

The team and drivers all competed last weekend at the Qualification race, finishing 1-2-3 in the class in Sunday’s four-hour race.
