HMO Customer Racing to run a second Hyundai Elantra in Australia

21 March 2025

HMO Customer Racing has taken delivery of a second Hyundai Elantra N ahead of the 2025 TCR Australia season.

As the winningest team in TCR Australia history and aiming for a hat-trick of titles in 2025, HMO Customer Racing has reinforced its commitment to the category by welcoming a second Elantra car to the fold. The new car includes the latest model look and upgrades, including aerodynamic changes, compared to the Elantra that Josh Buchan used to win last year's title. The team has also secured the same upgrades to fit to Buchan's car from 2024.

The team also retains one of the Hyundai i30 N in its TCR fleet and is due to confirm its full driver line-up in due course.

Team Manager Scott Fulcher said: “It’s awesome to have this new Hyundai in the country. The new version is the facelifted model featuring a different appearance, which matches the current road-going car available at Hyundai dealers. It has new headlights, front and rear fascias, plus a couple of other pretty bits, but it is the same version already raced here, just updated visually. We’re 100 percent committed to TCR Australia. We love the category, plus having two Kumho FIA TCR World Tour rounds at The Bend and Macau competing against globally renowned drivers is a pretty exciting prospect.”
