Belgian driver Giovanni Scamardi has routed his competitors on his home track, as he won all four races of the FFSA TC France series at Spa-Francorchamps.
The weekend had not started well for him, as in the first Qualifying that determined the grids for Race 1 and Race 3, Scamardi had had his lap times deleted for track limit infringements and was forced to start from P8 on the grid. He then claimed the pole position in Qualifying 2, for Race 2 and Race 4.
At the wheel of his SP Compétition CUPRA Leon VZ, the Belgian driver beat his teammate Gilles Chauvin by 6.5 seconds in Race 1, then he scored three more victories ahead of the JSB Compétition Hyundai Elantra N of his main rival Raphaël Fournier.
These results, added to Fournier's retirement with technical problems in Race 1, meant that Scamardi has taken the lead in the standings, 18 points ahead of the French teen-ager.
